The Hicks don't live on a farm. They live in town and they are my neighbors. And what neighbors! The family works at the market and they have to get up very early. Their old truck makes a terrible noise and it wakes up the parrot. The parrot wakes up the chicken's. The chickens wake up the goat. The goat wakes up the monkey, and, of course, I wake up too. The Hicks have six children. The big ones help their father at the market. The little ones play in the yard all day. They are always dirty. But the Hicks are a happy family. After dinner Mr. Hick usually plays his accordion, Bill plays the guitar and Sarah sings. At night I just can't study or watch televisión. The Hicks are noisy, but they are nice. They always talk to me. Sometimes Mrs. Hick brings me some eggs or some fruit. What can I do?
