Born on April 9 in Concepción Batres , Usulutan, El Salvador . Since childhood Alvaro Torres accurately defined what was to be in life . "It was a " dick " when he began cantar.1
beginnings
Descended from a humble family. From
very small and showed his talent, it was then that between the early
1970s as a singer began their presentations , but for lack of support in
his country traveled to Guatemala to find the win, making 90 in
cementing his popularity . Among
his best known songs include " Chiquita Mía" , "Nothing they Compare
with You" , "I Lived Waiting for You " and " De Punta to Punta " , among
others. She
has sung duets with three Mexican singers : Marisela , with the song "
My Love for You " , Tatiana , with whom he recorded "I want to Return to
Your Side" and Selena , with whom he performed " Good Friends " . In addition , he recorded with José Feliciano in 2005 , a CD tribute to Juan Gabriel. Throughout his career he has won many gold and platinum albums .
During
the years 1988 to 1998 he was at the Hot Latin Tracks Billboard 20
