Expressing likes and dislikes

When we want to talk about something we like or dislike we can use these phrases below:

I like

I love...

I enjoy...

I don't like...

I hate

He/She likes. He/She loves.

He/she enjoys

He/She doesn't like...

He/She hates

For example:

I love chocolate

. He doesn't like dogs

When we talk about activities we use the -ing form of verbs.

For example:

I like listening to music

. Martina enjoys driving her car

He hates going to the dentist.
