— Por la tarde, fui al cine con algunos amigos. Habíamos planeado ver la nueva película desde hacía semanas.

— Fue genial. Antes de que empezara, ya habíamos comprado las entradas y habíamos conseguido los asientos perfectos.
— ¿Habías visto el tráiler antes?
— Sí, lo había visto unas cuantas veces, pero ver la película completa fue una experiencia completamente diferente.
— ¿Qué hicieron después de la película?
— Después de la película, fuimos a cenar a un restaurante italiano que habíamos estado deseando probar desde hace tiempo. Ya habían cerrado algunos platos en el menú cuando llegamos, pero aún así disfrutamos de una excelente cena.

— Regresamos a casa alrededor de la medianoche. Antes de irnos a dormir, ya habíamos planeado nuestra próxima salida juntos.

— What did you do yesterday afternoon?
— Yesterday afternoon, I went to the movies with some friends. We had planned to see the new movie for weeks.
— How was the movie?
— It was great. Before it started, we had already bought the tickets and had gotten the perfect seats.
— Had you seen the trailer before?
— Yes, I had seen it a few times, but watching the full movie was a completely different experience.
— What did you do after the movie?
— After the movie, we went to have dinner at an Italian restaurant we had been wanting to try for a while. Some dishes on the menu had already sold out by the time we arrived, but we still enjoyed an excellent dinner.
— When did you get back home?
— We got back home around midnight. Before going to bed, we had already planned our next outing together.
