Last Day at the Museum
My uncle Jack was a security guard at the Natural History Museum. He worked there for many years and he was really good at his job-one time, he even stopped someone who was breaking into the museum! However, one night something unusual happened. It was late and nobody was in the museum. He was standing outside the American Forests room when he heard a strange noise, almost like someone was shouting from far away. He ran into the room and turned on the lights. He didn't see anyone, but he still heard the noise. Suddenly, as he was looking behind a statue, it came really loudly from behind him. He was very scared so he ran back to his desk and called the police. When they went back to the museum, they didn't find anyone. So, what was it? Was it just the wind coming in through a window, or something else? It's a mystery. Anyway, my uncle didn't go back to the museum the following day or ever again.
